In Tibet, the land closest to the sky, Elena was shocked by the profound culture of Tibetan Buddhism. The chanting sounds from the temples, the prayer flags fluttering in the wind, and the devout practice of the monks all made her feel a power beyond the world. She met many respected lamas and learned from them the wisdom of cause and effect, compassion and spiritual practice.

Then, Elena came to Sanqing Mountain, a Taoist holy land. The misty mountains and ancient Taoist temples made her feel as if she was in a fairyland.
